Swim A Thon and More

If your swimmer participated in the American Red Cross of Central Texas "swim-a-thon"- Please return the pledge form and the (parent approval) signature page along with the cash/checks to the coaches or Judy/Melinda/Amy/Mike "No Later" than July 11th.  You may bring them to practice on Thursday, July 7th or drop them off at my house - 10817 Pointeview Drive.

Reminder the July Swim Practice schedule - July 7th - 14th

6:30 - 7:30 - Campers swim (open to every swimmer)

7:30 - 8:15 - Swimmer ages 4-5-6-7

8:15 - 9:00 - Swimmer ages 8-9-10

9:00 - 10:00 - Swimmers 11 and Older

We have made changes to the volunteer sheet for the up coming meet Saturday, July 9th. If you have not fulfilled your 3 slots for volunteering, please email Melinda Patterson at melinda.patterson@austin.rr.com to let her know your availability. We have a few timer/floater slots for the July 9th meet. We also have a few volunteer spots open for the Friday, July 15th (11 and older only)  and the Saturday, July 16th (10 and under) meet as well. Please take a look at the volunteer sheets and email Melinda as soon as possible. We couldn’t run these meets without your help.

Saturday, July 9th Swim Meet

Swim Meet will be held at the West Austin Athletic Club
Teams = Lake Pointe and WAAC
Registration and Warm-up is 7:00 AM
** Swimmers not checked in by 7:30 AM are subject to be scratched
Start Time is 8:00 AM

If your swimmer is not attending, please email astill@austin.rr.com ASAP

If your swimmer is not attending July 15th or 16th , please email astill@austin.rr.com by Sunday

Award Ceremony is scheduled for Saturday Night - July 16th (7:00 PM) - time and details to be finalized soon

Each year we take up a cash collection for the coaches - if you think the coaches deserve a little something-something for all their efforts and commitment to your swimmers over the past 10 weeks, please show them your appreciation.  We will present the coaches the collection during the Award ceremony.  Judy-Melinda-Amy- or I are available during practice or at the next two meets to receive your (strictly voluntary) gift.  You may also bring by my house - 10817 Pointeview Drive.  Cash is preferred but we can also accept checks made payable to "Lake Pointe Swim Team".
