Please find attached our 2012 swimmer registration form. There are two options for completing the form:
1) Type in the information, print and bring along with you on Sunday
2) Print the form, complete and bring with you.
Try-outs - any swimmer ages 6 & under who did not try-out on March 4th will be directed to try-out on Sunday right after registration from 4:00 - 5:00 PM at the West Austin Athletic Club - 1024 Patterson Rd * Austin, TX 78733 * (512) 263-4282. If your swimmer under-performs at try-outs, they will be provided information on lessons and clinics to prepare them for the team.
Registration fees - We can only accept a personal check made payable to "Lake Pointe Lazers" or cash
Our New - Head Coach will be in attendance on Sunday - those who swim at Nitro may recognize him. We are very excited about our coaching staff this year - an all-star cast !!
Lane Four will be at registration selling our team bathing suits, goggles, and swim caps. Team suits are optional but encouraged. Alternative suits would be all black or any black/orange combination. Girls must wear a one piece bathing suit for both practice and swim meets. http://lane4swim.com/lapola.html - you can also order on-line or by shopping at their N. Austin store.
Donating old swim team suits - For those of you who have participated on swim team in the past and have one too many swim suits laying around, we will be collecting used swim team suits at Registration. We will then re-sale them to any interested parents for $5 each, with the proceeds going back to the swim team. Just look for the marked boxes at Registration.
Pool Keys - please make sure you and your swimmer has a pool key. The HOA is requiring all swimmers to have a pool/gate key to enter the pool this year. No fence hoppers or keeping the door open with a large rock. The pool key rule is in place to secure the safety of your swimmer. For pool keys contact christy@southwestmanagement.net
Preparing for this year's season has been a lot of fun thanks to hard work of Judy Jeffrey, Melinda Patterson, Amy Still, Philip Biles, Rachel Morelli, Nancy Lippa, and Kathleen Kennedy.
